I scope the work, do the work, and pick up the phone.
I'm in Niagara, Ontario. Four years hands-on with SharePoint 2013, 2016, and SharePoint Online; currently the sole engineer on a live 2,000-user SP2016 to SPO migration. Fixed-fee work for organizations of 50 to 2,000 users. If I am not the right fit, I will tell you on the discovery call instead of selling around it.
§ 01 · Live engagement
What I am doing right now.
- Source platform
- SharePoint Server 2016 (on-prem)
- Target
- SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365)
- Scale
- ~2,000 users
- Tools
- ShareGate · PnP PowerShell · custom scripts · SPMT
- My role
- Sole engineer: planning, migration runs, exception handling, comms
And recently shipped
-
Migrated a finance file share into a governed SPO library with retention labels and per-folder access reviews.
-
Replaced a batch of legacy InfoPath forms with Power Apps + SharePoint lists, including a custom approval flow.
-
Wrote a permissions-audit runbook used to prep a tenant for a Copilot pilot. Broken inheritance found and fixed across hundreds of sites.
§ 02 · Operating principles
Three rules I will not bend on.
- 01
Small is the feature, not a constraint.
You email me, I answer. The person who scopes the work is the person doing the work. No account manager, no offshore team, no handoff to a junior on day one.
- 02
Fixed-fee is more honest than time-and-materials.
If my estimate is wrong, that is my problem, not yours. T&M billing punishes you for my learning curve and rewards me for moving slowly.
- 03
Say no when I should.
If I am not the right fit, I will say so on the discovery call and refer you to someone who is. Better than burning four weeks finding out together.
§ 03 · Paperwork
What procurement asks for.
Certifications, tools I lead with, and the legal posture. Send any of this to your vendor-onboarding desk; it is what they will want.

§ 04 · Talk
Talk through whether I am the right fit.
Thirty minutes. No pitch, no slide deck. If we are not a fit I will say so before the call ends and tell you who is.
