Fixed-fee · milestone billing
SharePoint migrations & Power Platform projects
Bigger pieces of work, SharePoint migrations, Power Apps rebuilds, governance rollouts, Copilot readiness, scoped on a discovery call and quoted as a one-page fixed-fee proposal. Milestone billing, 50% up front and 50% on delivery, with documented handoff included.
Common projects
What I build for mid-sized organizations.
SharePoint 2016/2019 → SPO migrations
Full-lifecycle migrations for 100–2,000 users. Discovery, inventory, content cleanup, wave-based cutover, user training, post-migration validation.
InfoPath → Power Apps rebuilds
Rebuild InfoPath forms as modern Power Apps with proper data source wiring, approval flows, and handoff-ready documentation.
2013 workflow → Power Automate
Modernize retiring SharePoint 2013 workflows to Power Automate cloud flows. Preserves triggers, approval chains, and audit history.
Permissions cleanup + Copilot prep
Audit broken inheritance, overshare, and stale external guests before your Copilot rollout exposes content you didn't know you had.
How a project runs
- 1
Discovery
60–90 minute call. You describe scope, constraints, deadlines. I ask enough questions to quote accurately.
- 2
Proposal
One-page proposal: deliverables, milestones, timeline, fixed fee. Sent within 3 business days of discovery.
- 3
MSA + 50% deposit
Master Services Agreement signed. Invoice for 50% deposit via Wave. E-transfer, wire, or credit card accepted.
- 4
Build + check-ins
Weekly 30-minute status calls. Shared project channel in Teams. Mid-project demo at the 50% milestone.
- 5
Delivery + handoff
Final delivery, documentation, walkthrough session, final invoice (net 15). Q&A window of 30 days included.
FAQ
01 How do you price fixed-fee?
Scope drives price. After discovery, I send a one-page proposal with deliverables, timeline, and a fixed fee split into milestones. No hourly mystery math.
02 What about scope creep?
Scope is locked in the proposal. Changes go through a written change-order that I either include at no cost (if small) or quote separately (if material). No surprises on the final invoice.
03 Do you subcontract?
No. You work directly with me. If a project is too big for me solo, I say so up front and either scale down the scope or refer you to a partner firm I trust.
04 How long do typical projects take?
Small projects (single site, InfoPath rebuild, permissions cleanup): 2–4 weeks. Mid-size migrations (200–500 users): 6–10 weeks. Large migrations (1,000+ users): 10–16 weeks.
